Bryan was my team's mentor at European Innovation Academy, I greatly benefited from his inspiring trainings. Bryan used a lot of effective methods to help teams with brainstorming, pivoting, and improving on existing ideas. His sections were very motivating and helped us to get through team's downtimes. He was always involved, energized and available for help beyond office hours. I highly recommend him as a mentor.
Since I've met him (at a Founders' Institute semester in Brussels), Bryan has been one of the most positive, available and inspirational mentors I have ever had. He is honestly interested and tries to help think and re-think projects and approaches, guiding whoever asks for help with a smile in his face.
Bryan is a pure motivator, lives by the credo "nothing is impossible" and "life is too short not to have fun". He really can change your state of mind by listening carefully, pinpointing your real question/doubts and showing that you already have the answer with a rhetorical question. He's able to do that, probably thanks to his huge experience in the start-up field. I've met him before and during the Founder Institute program in Brussels beginning of 2015, you will not find a more suited person at your side in the small Belgian start-up ecosystem.
“Bryan was my favorite marketing teacher when I was studying abroad in Belgium at K.U.Leuven. I left the class with a valuable toolkit that enables me to evaluate the likelihood of success or failure of new products entering into the market place. I particularly enjoyed this class as Bryan is an entrepreneur and he enabled us to better understand the course material through applying relevant examples from his current business ideas. I would highly recommend Bryan as a professor and a mentor.”
No other professor ever encouraged students to express their ideas with a simple drawing on a napkin! Bryan Cassady's combination of academic articles, books, videos and field experience not only made students attend classes, it actually kept them awake.
A professor that gives a 110% effort in each class. No one sleeps through his classes, he interacts with students and challenges them to give the best of themselves... In addition to providing students with a solid theoretical framework, he shows them how these ideas and concepts can be used in everyday life. His classes are fun and great to attend. If all professors were like Bryan Cassady, every student would get top grades... Definitely my favourite professor!
Bryan is able to motivate a team, to understand and work with multiple departments. He as a drive to make things happen and very good skills in managing new business initiatives. Focused on profits and getting the business basics right, Bryan is one of the top manager I met.
During his 6 month's mission within Mobistar, Bryan has been able to keep and develop the motivation of the web team, improve the quality of the internal relationship with other departments while improving the commercial performance of the web combining with a budget optimization which has allow us to reduce it by 25%.
Thinking back on my time I've worked with Bryan, I remember him being exactly the right person at the right place at the right time: he created a new business opportunity, got the Board heading in the same direction, and then took on the new business with a great deal of entrepreneurship, keeping one eye on the objectives and the other on the interest of the (numerous) stakeholders. Bryan knows what it takes to get a startup on track, and to keep it running. I've admired his speed and intelligence, being always one step ahead of what the rest was thinking.
